Modern Artifact without Affinity

Sideboard

So the main game plan with this deck is to get out Karn, the Great Creator and then start abusing his -2 to pull cards from your sideboard. The first card you're going to pull is Mycosynth Lattice for the sweet sweet Karn, the Great Creator + Mycosynth Lattice combo that doesn't let your opponent tap their lands for mana. After that if your opponent doesn't concede there's a couple more combos in the deck to pull off a win, Blightsteel Colossus and Memnarch can just win you the game through combat/stealing things for combat. The Laboratory Maniac + Leveler with Conjurer's Bauble + Take Inventory + Thought Scour is a pretty fun way to win the game. The last combo to win the game is with Aetherflux Reservoir + Paradoxical Outcome + Mirror Gallery + Mox Amber + Mox Opal and while it is the most labor intensive combo in the deck it's really fun to pull off and it's one of the 2 main reasons we run low CMC counter spells Negate + Pact of Negation , the other reason being to protect Karn, the Great Creator. The only cards left to talk about (other then the lands) is Karn, Scion of Urza and Ghostly Flicker. Karn, Scion of Urza is there mostly for card draw but the -2 to make a Construct is also quite nice, Ghostly Flicker is there to bounce Karn, the Great Creator so that he can reset his Loyalty counters and use his Loyalty abilities more then once in a turn and Baral, Chief of Compliance is in the deck for a couple reasons, number 1 is to put Mox Amber online, number 2 is to make Take Inventory and Paradoxical Outcome cheaper and lastly it lets you loot whenever you counter a spell with Negate or Pact of Negation. The lands are pretty standard, 12 basic Islands, Karn's Bastion is there for if you have excess mana to give more Loyalty to your Karns and Darksteel Citadel is there mostly for Mox Opal to help proc metalcraft. Hopefully y'all enjoy the deck as much as I liked making it, it was a challenge making an Artifact deck that wasn't Affinity based and still remain competitive (IMO of course) but it was fun to make none the less!
