Description

Started of with a control deck, got tired of waiting around so I am building Mizzix to get quicker and actually have a win con aside from Insurrection.

Current goal is to ramp out Mizzix roughly turn 2-3 with rocks like Chrome Mox, Mana Crypt, and Sol Ring. Then to start getting experience counters on Mizzix with cheap costing card draw, then to assemble the win with what I got in hand and graveyard.

Current win conditions are chaining abunch of spells into Aetherflux Reservoir.Or Reiterate with Turnabout or a ritual to get infinite man and Reiterate+Lightning Bolt or a big Blue Sun's Zenith

Currently testing out Paradox Engine

I'm surprised no Baral, Chief of Compliance, Curious Homunculus, or Goblin Electromancer to help get those spells cheaper.

butthurt_qrow, I don't run Curious Homunculus as I see it as a turn bad rock, being that it only works for instants and sorceries, and I can't even use it the turn it comes in.

I ran Goblin Electromancer before but dropped it for Mind Stone, because it didn't help me get Mizzix out a turn earlier.

I did consider Baral, Chief of Compliance when I was running more counterspells but after I dropped a majority of them I opted for JVP which also lets me recast cards I might need

Disrupt Decorum Fall of the Titans

Comet Storm

Play these and copy either one to knock out entire games at once. You should also look into these for acceleration:

Inexorable Tide

Tezzeret's Gambit

Steady Progress

Inexorable tide is ridiculous in a Mizzix deck, you get experience counters off of everything. Proliferate also works with Planeswalkers like Ral Zarek, who could give you near-unlimited turns. To make the deck a bit more protected, since you don't seem to want to run Propoganda, try Disrupt Decorum as a fallback. It's incredibly fun in a 4-5 player game when everyone starts trying to stop you. primal amulet is the new must-have from Ixalan. For 4 mana you get an electromancer effect, then the land is a copier. It's unbelievably powerful mid-game.

Good luck, my guildmate, and happy experimentation!
