Hello! This is the first deck I've ever built in MTG. I bought a Commander 2015 Seize Control Mizzix precon and switched out some of the cards already. I've been playing YGO for almost 5 years and had just started MTG. I usually play aggro focused decks that put down fields with good recovery/utility and sometimes have a control aspect that either disrupts the opponent and/or backs up the board I put down. When making these decks in YGO, I find myself choosing decks that are relatively easy to learn/play but difficult and in turn satisfying to master. With Mizzix, I've been leaning towards having a control focus and an explosive/aggro-y late game with the nature of Mizzix getting tempo. I'm familiar that "storm", from my understanding, is an aggro playstyle that plays as many spells in as short amount of time as possible. I am trying not to do that as I feel that is not too interesting for the deck, at least as a main focus. I like having a hand in what everyone is doing and trying to disrupt plays while also gaining some advantage off doing so.

Most common way I've won so far is by having Talrand on the field and resolving Mizzix's Mastery with it's overload cost to get a lot of spells to activate from grave, usually giving more counters for Mizzix in the process and generating many 2/2 flying tokens to swing with. This would usually happen late game. I haven't really resolved the few burn spells in the deck being Fireball, Chain Reaction, and Comet Storm. It's maybe good to have them as another way to win but it could be a bit lacking on it's own. I'm still open to look for other win cons and would love to have several.

I'm a big fan of a few mechanics in MTG that aren't that common in YGO (or non-existent) and I feel that they could certainly add more dimension and flavor into the deck. Being able to copy a spell, take an extra turn, drawing/scrying a lot, having no maximum hand size, taking control of creatures (or any permanents really), or constantly summoning creatures is cool. If I could devise several win cons involving these elements that are interchangeable, strong, and/or consistent, I would be thrilled lol. I appreciate any ideas or suggestions!
