Massive sliver beatdown is not my style. So I set out to create a sliver deck that IS my style- very controlly or lockdowny. Since there's no Sliver (yet!) that says "All slivers gain 'Sacrifice this creature: counter target spell,'" I decided to go for a board lockdown/mill set.

The key slivers are Telekinetic Sliver to lock the board down and Screeching Sliver to mill. Seedborn Muse just about doubles your milling speed. I like the fun of Frenetic Sliver and used it instead of Crystalline Sliver for protection to both make the deck extended legal and keep it to 50% casualties or so on Wrath of God-style effects. Frenetic Sliver also allows for far more efficient chop blocking. Dementia Sliver often lets you keep any cards whatsoever out of your opponent's hand, and Dormant Sliver is necessary to draw. Mesmeric Sliver is a FANASTICALLY fun lockdown piece, and probably half the reason I built this deck.

Spinneret Sliver can probably be swapped out, but it's a handy chap to have, I've found. If you do swap it out, make sure you do so for another Sliver; you really need Slivers hitting the board with some frequency to keep the deck running smoothly.
