Right now, the most reliable form of a mill deck would probably be TurboFog. The objective is to have a card-draw engine (Howling Mine , Font of Mythos , Rites of Flourishing ) and a ton of Fog -type effects. You stall out your opponent and just continuously mill them out until you win.

Take a look at my TurboFog deck from a few months ago. I haven't updated it since M13 was released, so I'd probably include a Sands of Delirium or something along those lines.

You should definitely change Sword of Feast and Famine for Trepanation Blade .. It is awesome for a "2 birds/1stone" setup.. Mill while getting a boost.. You should also throw your Dissipate in there as permanent fixtures for cards with flashback..

I don't think Selhoff Occultist & Vedalken Entrancer are worth their initial costs. They are not great mill cards, so I would go more control card draw in place of these. I would also suggest picking between Delver of Secrets  Flip or card:Jace's Phantasm and have x4 of one of them.

This should free up some space for some more control or card draw like Think Twice or Thought Scour . I have found Rewind to be spendy but great due to all the instants that you can flashback, it allows you to counter and still cast those instants at the end of the opponents turn. Negate is also a good choice against control decks.

Also more Jace, Memory Adept are always good because if they cant deal with him it game over, and even if they do its mill 10 cards for 5 mana. And Increasing Confusion x2 or 3 is a must.

I would personally ditch some of your mill effects and replace it with either cards that "kill two birds with one stone" or more control mechanics to let your jace and Trepanation Blade get off. You can still mill fairly effectively but you will proabably win a few games with damage as well. mindshreiker might be a good option.

Might I suggest Sword of Body and Mind with Invisible Stalker ? Pull it off and you're hitting for 10 cards per turn, plus you get to throw out a 2/2 wolf blocker at the end of it. Couple that with Jace, Memory Adept and the opponent's in for a hard time.

I feel like you're a little all over the place with this one.

First, you need 24 lands. Especially if you want to use Increasing Confusion , Sands of Delirium and Increasing Vengeance effectively.

I'd drop Mindshrieker and Redirect .

Mindshrieker is easily removed and is too much in the middle between a beater and a mill card, neither of which he is good at. You need a blocker, board wipe, etc. Bonfire of the Damned , Whipflare , Blasphemous Act , etc are all good.

Redirect I see being good against black control, but not much else. Spellskite would be better.

I like the mill theme; it's been something I've tried to make work with Undead Alchemist in standard. Check out Strangelove's Undead Architect, I would love the feedback.

+1 though, I like the Trepanation Blade /Sword of Body and Mind + Invisible Stalker . Focus on that I'd say.

Not that I'd specifically recommend its use for everything, but Redirect is probably the best answer to Bonfire of the Damned in Standard right now. Your opponent taps out to take X to the face and have his/her board wiped.

I've done it. And, yes. People ragequit.

Just about every deck now a days has some form of control, which is why I think the benifits of keeping Redirect in the deck out weight the negative aspect.

I made a couple small changes once again, I replaced Sands of Delirium with Otherworld Atlas for an extra draw engine (with possible mill potential) on top of Thought Scour . I added Blasphemous Act as a board wipe but if I don't have 4 of them in there I don't see them being too effective. Also I have removed Dissipate totally.

Mindshrieker was taken out as well, which made me low on creatures, how should I supplement the loss?

All in all I really need to cut the deck by about 6 cards and I can't seem to figure out what should be removed!

Also had the idea of putting in a couple Dual Casting thoughts?

Sword of Body and Mind would definitely do a mil deck better than feast and famine.
