Consistent and Versatile

This deck is pretty consistent and leave little room for luck, both because it has multiple ways to win, and because of it's drawing, scrying and fetching power: Each Evolving Wilds and Polluted Delta causes our library to shrink by an extra card and by doing so increasing our odds of pulling what we need; Both Temple of Deceit and Thassa, God of the Sea allows us to scry and toss what we don't need; Visions of Beyond allows us to draw 1-3 cards and keep our hand full - despite this deck fairly low CMC; Jace, Memory Adept's first ability allows you to draw a card in case you need it more than his second ability.

Lands

x4 Polluted Delta makes Hedron Crab mill twice as much, offers color fixing, and shrink our library to help us pull the cards we need.

x4 Evolving Wilds same as polluted delta, only it enters tapped.

x4 Temple of Deceit like polluted delta and evolving wilds, it helps us shrink our library and pull the cards we need most at the moment, only it does so by scrying.

x2 Shelldock Isle may allow us to play phenax or consuming aberration for virtually free.

Tips and Tricks

  • Send to Sleep will allow you to use Phenax, God of Deception ability safely and mill a ton.
  • In case you have a huge Consuming Aberration or a couple of strong Wight of Precinct Six on the field, and haven't pulled Thassa, God of the Sea or Artful Dodge yet, you can mill yourself and then cast Artful Dodge from your graveyard and finish the game, thanks to his flashback ability. chances are that milling yourself will get you artful dodge if you haven't pulled one until now.

  • If you have consuming abbreation and a mill card in hand, play consuming first and then the mill so you will activate consuming's ability.

  • Play Evolving Wilds together with Hedron carb, this way your crab will mill twice as much.

Sideboard

In case your opponent plays a graveyard deck, play Leyline of the Void. Archive Trap is great if your opponent have fetch lands, since you'll be able to cast it for free. If you're up against an aggro or creature heavy deck, you can switch out Mana Leak and Dimir Charm and add some creature removal like Death's Approach, Thoughtseize etc..
