A deck that will be standard after rotation and offers some fast mill. With Retraction Helix you can target Midnight Guard to make him able to untap whenever a creature enters the battlefield. With Ornithopter you can continuously put it down to untap Midnight Guard then tap the Guard to return Ornithopter to your hand and basically do it an infinite amount of times. As long as Altar of the Brood is on the battlefield, your opponent will have to mill one card every time a permanent enters the battlefield which you can now do an infinite amount of times to mill for the win.

I threw in some counter and control just to survive until the combo comes up. I found Eidolon of Rhetoric interesting because you can counter your opponents spell then they wouldn't be able to play any more spells for the rest of their turn. Once you are ready to combo, just tap Midnight Guard to return Rhetoric to your hand and begin the milling.

Please don't worry about my land. I just threw that in there and will worry about what types I need later.

Please give any suggestions on what you think will make this deck better! Including if I should take out/add land and other cards from Tarkir that might do well with this mechanic. Thanks!!
