Might of the Triggers is a Grixis deck aiming to make use of some powerful "Whenever X deals combat damage to a player" effects, along with things like double strike, evasion and multiple combat steps, to glean huge amounts of value from combat. Pack your luggage in the overhead compartment and board a gravitic bullet train right into the depths of Christmasland, there's a lot of high value plays that can happen with any number of the high-end creatures hitting.

Sedris, the Traitor King heads this deck with his powerful Unearth ability giving us access to scary creatures in our graveyard and letting them swing in with haste for a turn. While he doesn't trigger anything himself, and this isn't really a reanimator deck, later on he can pull 1-3 creatures a turn from the graveyard right onto the battlefield so you can abuse their combat triggers once again with enablers in your hand or on the battlefield.

Thoughts and suggestions welcome!

The whole idea of the deck is hitting in with powerful combat damage triggers, so to that end we've got some of the strongest effects in colors. These creatures are all large, expensive, juicy targets, which is why an abundance of protection is used, but a lot of them involve using an opponents resources for your own gain, like casting spells from their hands, graveyards and libraries, so the value they can provide is HUGE and different each time.

Steal all kinds of stuff from graveyards.

Playing things straight out of the opponents library or hand.

Some beaters to help in combat.

All we want to do is make contact with our creatures, hexproof, shroud and unblockable helps them stay around and connect so we get the most out of their triggered abilities.

Protect our best creature from wraths and a lot of targeted removal and is fairly resilient in itself.

Swiftfoot Boots belong both in here and in Haste Enablers, because they're just that good. Hexproof is always useful and will keep things safe, and unlike shroud lets you target creatures with your own stuff. Mask of Avacyn can be expensive with it's equip cost, but very worth it if it keeps important stuff alive or under our control.

Whispersilk cloak provides true evasion at the cost of not being able to target your own creature (without re-equipping), while other forms of partial evasion help get big and small creatures through in most situations.

This deck features a lot of artifact ramp as it relies on some expensive creatures and setups, usually wanting to pay for a creature and then equip it with some protection in the same turn.

When the big threats make it to the board, we want to abuse them as much as possible. To this end, double strike does an enormous amount of work in this deck, doubling the very powerful effects like casting spells from an opponents hand or pulling cards from their graveyard or library. Amplify a double striking creature with an extra combat for true enlightenment.

Extra combat is devastating if a major threat finds itself in a board position where it can hit multiple times. A combo exists here with Sword of Feast and Famine untapping lands to activate Aggravated Assault as many times as needed, it's up to you how you feel about infinite combos or if you just want to do it 2-3 times for insane value.

Double Strike is the spice of life. Either a temporary buff until end of turn or a static effects to reap enormous amounts of value of of all the decks combat triggers.

Sitting around waiting a turn to swing in with threats is dangerous and boring, so there's a few ways to haste them up and have them swinging right away. All are repeatable or static effects so they can provide a lot of value at any point in the game.

A lot of the draw in this deck relies on combat damage being done to an opponent, which makes it less reliable than straightforward card draw. But with the abundance of double strike and evasion in this deck, connecting can mean a lot of cards drawn, so it's a risk vs reward situation.

Combat trigger focused card draw

More standard draw to fill the hand when combat damage just isn't working out.

Direct tutors to put some important stuff right into the graveyard for Sedris to Unearth or find some much needed haste or double strike.
