I am a returning magic player after about 5 years off, and I know I want to play Esper in modern I am looking for all forms of feedback. I really want to enter competitive modern, but I need a lot of help in understanding how the format works, as well as how to construct an Esper deck. I have done some research, and out of the cards I have, this is the closest to competitive that I can come up with, while still having win conditions. The main win con is to use the Sorin's as well as tokens to poke the enemy down and chump block until the debt to the deathless pops off. The reason it is so scattered is that I am currently using this deck in casual multiplayer, and I am wondering if anyone can understand the direction I am trying to go with this deck and how I can make it into a competitive modern deck without spending more than 100 dollars. All of these cards I already have, and hence the random construction and many one-offs in the deck. I am planning on first fixing the mana base, adding 4 unmoored egos, and 4 paths. I also know it is not modern legal, but the 'sideboard' fixes that.

Any help is appreciated, and I am looking forward to the constructive feedback of this trainwreck :D
