This Abzan list shines as a new dredge menace in the format, thanks to the new cards, Crop Sigil , Crawling Sensation , and Haunted Dead providing everything a dredge deck would want in this format that allows the powerful Dread Return.

This deck want to quickly mill itself with the combination of Darkblast, Crop Sigil , and Crawling Sensation . The insect token is conjunction with Lingering Souls and Haunted Dead lets this deck quickly get enough creatures for dread returning Pelakka Wurm for a large threat and some life, or Ancestor's Chosen for a decent 4/4 first striker, and generally an absurd amount of life.
