A very solid EDH/commander deck with merieke as the general.

Merieke is an amazing card and very strong against decks that focus too much on their general.

Anyway, this deck has a couple of subthemes.

1) SphinxesEarlier incarnations of this deck lacked the punch to actually kill people. Sphinxes are a very fine addition to this deck

2)Tappers and tap abilitiesEventually this deck will establish an amazing board control with nothing but permanents. It's very satisfying to establish, and it's probably my favorite strategy in magic.This strategy is however entirely hosed by Linvala, so obviously I just needed to play her, as another random body and as tech against her :D
