Pretty much a ton of Merfolk creatures to use Kumena, Tryant of Orazca's abilities to their fullest. There should be tons of instances of getting +1/+1 counters on your creatures. The deck also has a decent amount of counters. Hardened Scales combined with Panharmonicon should get your creatures nice and big fast. When Ixalan came out I wanted to come up with a fun Merfolk Tribal EDH, and now with Rivals of Ixalan coming out it cemented the idea. I'm hoping the deck is relatively fast due to being prone to boardwipe. I also put Arcane Adaptation in the maybeboard to have all my merfolk also be wizards for the couple of Wizard triggers and abilities mainly for Sigil Tracer, and would give reason to add in Sage of Fables.
