When I got this deck, I thought I was just going to loot it for its treasures. Which I did. But before that I playtested it green and the synergies Meren of Clan Nel Toth can provide are amazingly excellent. Her every turn creature recursion lets you use your graveyard as a second hand. Even with some of her power cards removed, I still gave her a go adding in some larger creatures and focusing on graveyard size/graveyard recursion.

So far she is quite fun to play and mean to play against.

My second update to this deck focused more on creatures with mean or useful etb effects to get more bang for my buck. This involved removing some of the less optimized creatures or spells that can be replaced by creatures. Ideally, having half the deck creatures can let me pull whatever I ability I need out of the graveyard that turn. Sadly, this would be horrible against a enemy Rise of the Dark Realms or a graveyard exile. Tis fate eh?

Suggestions are welcome. I plan on making this deck the meanest deck on the street. It's so mean that Meren can't sit in my box with my other decks. She lures other decks into her crypt with candy. It doesn't end well.

General win conditions are to out stax your opponents and drain them dry with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, swarm to death with Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and Hornet Queen, or cheat out hidden game enders like It That Betrays.

Infinite win conditions are propelled by the infinite sac engine Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle + any creature that spawns 2+ tokens when it enters.
