Cards in the category "Storm" are part of this, while the rest are part of the main deck.

Most "Storm" cards also are used with the main deck.

The general win condition involves drawing your whole deck, getting tons of mana with Ashnod's Altar and Cadaverous Bloom, casting a lot of random cheap spells from your deck, then killing your opponents with Tendrils of Agony and Aetherflux Reservoir.

Generally, you want to have Zendikar Resurgent or Ashnod's Altar before you storm off for the extra mana. Also, you can go off with draw engines but not main combo pieces, which usually works out but can be risky.

I somehow missed two cards, which I will fix later.

FAQs:

Q: Isn't this bad?

A: No, it's incredible.

Q: No, seriously, this is trash.

A: That's not a question.

Q: A lot of your cards are suboptimal.

A: I'm on a pretty small budget.

Q: Why did you put Fleshbag Marauder in its own category?

A: If you read the category title, it's self-explanatory.

Q: It seems a little hard to kill all of your opponents with this. You need 151 or more life!

A: That can be achieved with a storm count of around 25, plus Disciple of Bolas and Tendrils of Agony boost that.

Q: I don't get how half the "Storm" cards help you go off.

A: There are a few criterion for Storm cards. Those are:

Provides draw (ex: Grim Haruspex)

Provides recursion (ex: Eternal Witness)

Provides mana (ex: Zendikar Resurgent)

Provides sac fodder (ex: Mycoloth)

Tutors (ex: Sidisi, Undead Vizier)

Is a wincon (ex: Aetherflux Reservoir)

All the cards in the "Storm" category fit one or more of those criterion.

EDIT 2: It has come to my attention that Meren Storm has been added to the folder "fun EDH decks" on this site. Now, when you think "fun", you think Johnny. You think winning with a -2128/2128 Floral Spuzzem. And I am sure that there are decks which fit that description.

But not Meren Storm. Meren Storm is Spike. Meren Storm is blasting people into oblivion. Meren Storm is the one and only tier -1 (that's right- even above TIER 0!!!) EDH deck. Meren Storm takes weak little Timmys and throws them into the jaws of their own pack of Terra Stompers. Meren Storm takes smug punk Johnnys and traps them in their own Hedron Alignment. Meren Storm is not for the casual player. Meren Storm is not for the average player. Not for the grinder, not for the people who make this game, not even for LSV or Turtenwald. Meren Storm is such a deck, nay, a weapon, a lethal, fine-tuned weapon of mass destruction, that the only mere mortal besides myself worthy of wielding it is the great Richard Garfield himself, he who wrought this game for the sole purpose of this magnificent beast being unleashed. Even he might break down in tears upon drawing his combo! Even he, in his eternal brilliance, might have his great mind from which Magic sprung snapped as though a twig under a child's foot by the sheer divinity of Meren Storm! This deck is not "fun", it is deadly! Once this deck hits the table, before the first hand is even drawn, your opponents will weep tears of blood at the reaving of their souls which this incredible destroyer of worlds will bring about! When you cast Meren, slowly they will realize what has happened and, one by one, drop down in reverence, kneeling in pools of their own bloody tears! It was folly of me to even unleash this god of chaos upon the mortal realm, and you visionless fools label it fun?! FUN?!

NAY!

Meren Storm should not have ever been! Meren Storm is both a blessing and a curse to all of humanity! Meren Storm is not fun! Meren Storm is your birth and your death, your day and your night, your love and your hate, your blazing flames and your coldest of frigid ice! In sum, the very reason for the entirety of your patheitic being! Do not label that which is beyond your mortal comprehension! Simply sit, and revere, and worship, WORSHIP, your new lord of many skins, who in your lifetime presents itself as Meren Storm!

In conclusion, I request that Meren Storm be moved out of the folder "fun EDH decks" and that a new folder named "EDH decks of Grand Divinity" be created, and Meren Storm placed in it.
