Welcome to my Meren of Clan Nel Toth EDH Deck.

Meren is one of the strongest reanimators in the game including Chainer, Dementia Master, Teneb, the Harvester, Karador, Ghost Chieftain etc.

The reason I choose Meren over the others is because Meren contains the color of Speed and Ramp Green and the color of Reanimation and Plague Black. You will ask why not Teneb or Karador which also contains White the color of Land Destruction, Exiles and more Mass Removals. The answer is that I didn't want to mix a third color into the pure Golgari combination for once and I am quite pleased with the the outcome.

This is a strong deck based on reanimating creature with enter the battlefield effects like Woodfall Primus etc. The main winning condition of the deck is either the abuse of Kokusho, the Evening Star or Gray Merchant of Asphodel or just by pure aggro.

The main problem of all reanimation themed decks is one: grave hate! I tried to protect myself from grave hate with Witchbane Orb and Elixir of Immortality, even thought Elixir keeps me back in the game IF my graveyard was full and then back into my deck.
