Wow! Almost 30 upvotes! I can't believe it. Thank you to everyone who's helped this deck along its long, long evolution and to everyone that's +1'ed. I'm blown away.

Before I get into the deck, I must ask that Kitchen Finks not be suggested. I am aware of the combo, and choose not to include it for 2 reasons. 1) It's in almost every Melira deck ever. I'm not trying to build such a deck. 2) It's antithetical to Phyrexian Unlife. As I see it, it's one or the other, and for the sake of being slightly more interesting, I've chosen the other.

Infect was the first ability I got really excited about right when I started getting into Magic enough to build a deck. This started as a mono-green deck, then continued to shift and change many, many times. It's a slow deck, the sort that would rather revel in winning than let opponents get off with a quick death. Anyway, without any further ado, here's a brief breakdown of this deck's mechanics:

Melira, Sylvok Outcast+Phyrexian Unlife - I know what you're thinking - you're like, "Bor-Ring," and I agree, but I have tried to work this combo into and around the deck as a late game control move, extending the tempo as I blast away with some formidable critters.

Phyrexian Unlife+Melira, Sylvok Outcast+ Fateful Hour cards - Fateful Hour cards have added attributes when the caster's life total drops below 6. And that is exactly where I want the deck to kick in. Faith's Shield & Break of Day turn into much more powerful spells that can take unsuspecting opponents unawares.

Phyrexian Unlife+Melira, Sylvok Outcast+Maralen of the Mornsong - Probably not the greatest combo in the deck, as I assume any opponent with half a brain would search for something to break up my power combo. I, of course, search for something to preserve it. The real benefit here is that I don't pay the 3 life.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast+Phyrexian Hydra - The Hydra is a nasty beast. 7/7 pseudo indestructible infect is nothing to scoff at.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast+Twilight Shepherd - a 5/5 Flyer w/ Vigilance that can't be destroyed

Melira, Sylvok Outcast+ Witherscale Wurm - a 9/9 that can't be dealt combat damage for only 4GG.

Utopia Sprawl+Arbor Elf - a very fast ramp, and either half is effective on its own.

Path to Exile+Weathered Wayfarer - a good way to get any land I need while removing almost any nasty creature.

Harmonize - if the ramp is kicking out the mana, this deck needs some way to spend it.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant - The second ability can be a real nasty thing on the Phyrexian Hydra. I'm open to other PW suggestions and reasonings.

Melira, Sylvok Outcast+Cauldron Haze - I believe this defeats board wipes, returning first Melira, and then everything else.

Updates Add

I've made a few tweaks to make the combo harder to undo, namely giving Melira a regeneration potential and also make her uncounterable. I've also made changes a few changes to the description, but I will need to update it more still.
