Aven Mindcensor —April 20, 2017
Alright, so I think I've gotten the list to be just about where I want it. The deck is full of interactivity of every time, can be very aggressive, has lots of synergy, and can go "infinite" at any time. However, I still feel like it can do just a little bit more. But I want something that isn't reactive, like Selfless Spirit or whatever. I want something proactive, that taxes my opponent, that is something they immediately have to respond to. The only thing I can think of at the moment that does something like that is Aven Mindcensor. What do people think about my dilemma or the card?

I've actually been able to play around Blood Moon just fine with my current set-up. I'll have either a fetch or a basic in my opening hand, and just keep getting basics. Then I can either be able to cast a hate card like Qasali Pridemage or Necrotic Sliver, use Glittering Wish to grab Abrupt Decay, or, if I only get one forest, wait to cast Collected Company and cheat something in. Now my only dilemma is do I want a Fulminator Mage on the side or not to Wish for, or, if not, what would be better?

Actually, I know I don't need a Fulminator Mage on the side, I have land hate mainboard with Necrotic Sliver and Mangara of Corondor, and those can also hit basics. Trying out Voice of Resurgence.

I don't have anything to add other than I love the deck, but I was wondering if you would consider clearing the comments? There's quite a few and I'm sure the majority of them are dated.

Done. Thank you for reminding me, amazingdan. Been meaning to do that for a while. Welcome to 2017!

A possible way to deal with a Blood Moon is Nature's Claim or Reclamation Sage. I personally prefer the Claim because of the speed, but I also know people who swear by the Sage.
