Melek, Infinite X Spellslinger

Going Infinite:

Use tutors (or card draw) to find either 1.) Mana Geyser & Reiterate or 2.) Basalt Monolith & Rings of Brighthearth

*Option 1 will give you infinite Red Mana, while Option 2 will give you infinite Colorless Mana. You can change the color of 5 of this mana using Cascading Cataracts in order to have the colors you need to pull off the Infinite X Combo.

Winning with Infinite Mana:

Tutors (or card draw) can help you find one of the X Spells, the best possible X Spell to have on hand is Comet Storm . Banefire or Devil's Play are decent back ups but you will need some copy spells like Reverberate , Twincast , etc. to win in one turn. Most importantly have protection for this Combo, having at least 1 (preferably more) Counterspell(s) is essential to allow this combo to resolve, this is where 1 cmc Counterspells come in handy.

Lastly, when running this deck, Tutor as much as possible, I frequently Tutor for other Tutors. For instance using Mystical Tutor for Fabricate with Melek, Izzet Paragon on the board allows you to search for Basalt Monolith & Rings of Brighthearth in one turn.
