The very first rendition of this deck featured Barricade Breaker as the win condition which is rather weak but would get the job done. However, I first wanted a deck to be centered around Noxious Gearhulk and so I've tweaked it a little bit to add him to the spotlight.

First 4 turns you're looking to drop a Scrapheap Scrounger for pressure and Chief of the Foundry which is a high threat card that needs to be answered (thus reducing counters and options later). Also Foundry Inspector to get FREE Traveler's Amulet to fix mana issues or to set an artifact on the board. Inspiring Statuary to be able to play Padeem, Consul of Innovation for 1 blue and to help set up our late/end game.

Mechanized Production + Noxious Gearhulk = wins. Every time it copies you get a solid threat plus it destroys a creature to gain life back. Plus there is 2 more Mechanized Production to add more value to Chief of the Foundry or even Foundry Inspector to make all your artifacts crazy cheap.

Since Inspiring Statuary doesn't work with Noxious Gearhulk I needed a way to grab him from the deck once the combo was set up or I needed an answer. So I chose to go with Whir of Invention to not only pull him from the deck but it puts him on the battlefield. It's almost like Noxious has improvise.
