Tweaked the mana a bit and fit in Devil's Play for versatility/wincon/fun with Chandra, the Firebrand. Still waiting to test Curse of the Pierced Heart in the control matchup.

@Surfkatt - Thanks for the input! I am looking at where I can cut to get at least one more land in. I swear Tappedout's playtest thing hates this deck, I always draw way better with the physical deck than I do on there. I've only been "swamp screwed" for mutilate once and that was an older build of the deck. My buddy keeps poking fun at me for running Liliana of the Dark Realms , but fetching swamps to power Mutilate and thin the deck has really proven itself to me. I do wish there was some enchantment removal available, but it is what it is. I'd also like to get the 4th Dreadbore in there. I'm thinking of the Tragic Slips for a swamp and 4th Dreadbore, but we'll see what happens. I'd load it more on swamps, but I don't want to undersell myself on red mana because Olivia's 1R ability can be pretty nasty. Also, I'm glad to see someone is playing Vraska, I feel like she's undervalued at the moment, but we shall see.

Yeah, I get poked at for playing Vraska and Lili. Lili wins games for me with her -3 and a nighthawk. I can't say how many times in playtesting I have caught people offguard with a 10/11 nighthawk. Also sometimes I just need a kill spell and she serves that purpose perfectly. And im not gonna lie, Vraska is a worse malstrom pulse that can sometimes win the game. Its very rare for me to do anything but -3 her asap then start +1ing her. I get the same issue with the playtester, it is great and all but wicked inaccurate. Those seem like good cuts, you already have a much better game versus zombies with the pillars and dreadbores to the point you dont need the slips.

I really liked the slips, they kinda come out of nowhere, but playing around them was annoying and more of a hassle than they're worth. I might very well be biased about Vraska, just the idea of a "deathtouch" planeswalker struck me as pretty cool, but yeah, I totally understand her shortcomings. I decided to go for the 3rd Olivia over the 4th Dreadbore mainboard and tossed the 4th Dreadbore in the side for 'walker heavy opponents, so we'll see how this goes.

Also, thank you for bringing up using the -3 on Lili on a Nighthawk. Even a 7/8 Nighthawk can bring you from the verge of death to back in the game. I've used her -3 for the +X/+X probably just as many times as I have for the -X/-X, and I think people sometimes forget there's the option there. Also, it could save a Nighthawk/Olivia/whatever from your own Mutilate in a pinch.

Like the deck. But if you got problem with some nasty enchantment u could always try to find a place for some duress. U could check out my r/b control deck Bonfire of the Witch. And yes doing the +x/+x on ur creature then a mutilate is always good.
