Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest

Here is my Mazirek Commander deck! The deck is all based around sacrifice effects, abusing the stack and flooding the board with creatures to then pile +1/+1 counters on. This is my most competitive EDH deck and is very powerful.

The deck is all about having sacrifice outlets, sacrifice effects and sacrifice specific cards. Getting Mazirek out as quickly as possible is the key to this deck, as using your sacrifice cards without him, feels pretty bad. Mana dorks, rocks and fetches are all there for getting Mazirek out as quickly as possible. Another great thing about the deck is that it's whenever a player sacrifices a permanent, so everyone at the table cracking Wilds or sacrificing other cards triggers your deck as well!

KEY CARDS/Interactions

Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest + Puppeteer Clique + Woodfall Primus : Abusing the stack with these two Persist cards is great. Having a free sac outlet, E.G Viscera Seer, plus these guys means you have infinite non creature permanent destruction/ exile creature from graves to win.

Archfiend of Depravity + Living Plane : This is a horrid combo. Having these out makes everyone's Lands creatures and forces them to sac them at their end step. Having Mazirek out plus any number of creatures, this can swing the game instantly in your favour, even if only one player is affected by it.

Splendid Reclamation: Excellent card with all the fetches in the deck. The deck also runs Sylvan Safekeeper + The Gitrog Monster which are fantastic in the deck. Being able to sacrifice your Lands for triggers to then return them all is brilliant.

Wave of Vitriol: This card is crazy in the deck. Everyone's mana rocks, non basic and enchantments are just gone, and buff your whole team. It's very easy to get 20+ triggers depending on how many people are at the table. This is often game winning.

Animation Module: Exceptionally good card with a free sac outlet and Mazirek out. You can abuse the stack to have each of your servos enter then the Mazirek trigger will put a number of +1/+1 counters on them. Very easy to go wide and take over with this card.

Any Of The On Colour Fetches: These are all free sacrifice outlets at instant Speed. They've never been more valuable than in this deck.
