Mayael basically wants you to get giants out on the field at a much lower mana cost so that is the point of this deck. Plenty of tudor cards that let you put the cards on top of the library instead of in your hand so that Mayael's ability isn't cut off at the knees. Hopefully enough mana ramp to save you if/when Mayael ends up back in the command zone.

Quicksilver Amulet works in well with Mayael's theme and is handy in a pinch when beefies end up in your hand. Scroll Rack is a must for when you end up with giants in your hands and you don't want to, or can't, pay the mana cost for them (and you don't have Quicksilver Amulet on the field). Strionic Resonator should be an interesting one when it gets out on the field. And so on...

Tried to make sure that all the creatures I put into this deck had useful abilities rather than just shoving in as many high powered creatures as possible. So far, this deck plays really well and seems to beat some of the stronger decks i've played against.
