This is a Mayael deck that's intended to have a more controlling posture. I like casting big sweepers and I like putting big creatures onto the battlefield. I've intentionally avoided Mayael targets that would incentivize me to activate Mayael on my turn before I attack (for example, Craterhoof, Xenagos, etc.). I much prefer to wait until someone attacks me or until the end of the turn before mine to activate.

Updates Add

I've adjusted the sweepers to favor "destroy" without the "Can't be regenerated" clause. Wrath and Rout came out. Fumigate, Day of Judgment and Blasphemous Act came in. Austere Command and Akroma's Vengeance got to stay in. Silvos and Vagrant Plowbeasts also got added to the team.

So far, I've twice now been able to get people by regenerating creatures they controlled (that they'd stolen from me). The first time, I used Yavimaya Hollow on my Gisela that had been threatened in response to my opponent's Starke of Rath activation. And the second, I used Vagrant Plowbeasts to regenerate the Greenwarden of Murasa that my Sen Triplets opponent had cast out of my hand when he tried to use his Noxious Gearhulk to kill it.
