Intro

Hello you beautiful Tappedout men and women. You've stumbled upon Mayael the Goat. If you're unfamiliar with what Mayael the Anima does please read the card then return to this description. In this version of the deck we run the very essence of Naya in the form of BIG F*#%ING CREATURES. Now this isn't all whip it out and start smacking people with what you've got. I've run the sort of control that uses fear and anticipation in our favor.

Strategy

What is this interesting strategy you ask? We use the fact that Mayael's effect PUTS creatures onto the battlefield versus cast. This combined with ETB burn/fighting mechanics makes it so opponents are hesitant to attack you. Now you must be thinking "that sounds interesting, but flash why would they hesitate?" The key to this strategy is to use Mayael's effect once your opponent declares an attack at you or brings out something that's just not cool. "Looking at you Narset, Enlightened Master!" Then if everyone behaves themselves and doesn't earn a swift backhand during their turns, you just activate her effect at the end of the round right before your turn!.

Why

Now why would you play Mayael the GOAT-ima? If you like having a good time with your playgroup. If you could care less about winning and more about enjoying yourself and having fun.(DON'T WORRY YOU WILL STILL WIN GAMES) If you like to swing around big creatures like a drunk Goblin Chainwhirler.

Reason's you wouldn't like Mayael..... If you're a square. If you care too much about about winning and would rather win than have friends. If you can't handle big creatures and would rather stick with the little ones because they don't make fun of you. It's a fun deck either way and great for groups that enjoy a good (NOT SUPER OP TURN 3 WIN) game.
