Stopped playing MTG for a while and now I am bringing this deck up-to-date. Please feel free to drop any recommendations!

This deck incarnates the premise of "The best offense is a good defense". It sacrifices the raw power of cards such as Palladia-Mors, the Ruiner for defensive creatures like Platinum Emperion and Blazing Archon. The creatures in deck have enough sheer power to pose a threat, so instead of focusing on dropping specific bombs to the battlefield, it tries to create a protective synergy with cards such as Archetype of Endurance, Sigarda, Host of Herons and Dragonlord Dromoka, or restrict the opponents with cards such as Iona, Shield of Emeria or Void Winnower. Most of the creatures in this deck provide some sort of utility (with Akroma, Angel of Wrath and Scourge of the Throne being guilty pleasure). Removal comes in the form of Gruul Ragebeast, Arena, Inferno Titan, among others.

This deck is tuned for multiplayer, meaning that it might be slower than the average Mayael the Anima decks. To keep Mayael's ability success rate high, the deck keeps the targets of her ability to 28 creatures (according to this article https://articles.edhrec.com/the-knowledge-pool-mayael-the-anima-part-1/). I decided not to include creatures "when you cast" effects such as Emrakul, the Aeons Torn because I usually want to cheap creatures in with Mayael's ability instead of directly casting them from the hand.

Aside from some lands, the deck is missing important support cards (namely Rings of Brighthearth and Scroll Rack), but overall it proves to be a fun deck to play with a group of friends. The deck is also missing other sources of sharing Trample, such as Thunderfoot Baloth (although I don't particularly like that card).
