Goal: cheat out big boys with Mayael's ability while keeping her safe with cards such as Shield of the Oversoul, Swiftfoot Boots etc.

Then give 'em haste with Cyclops of Eternal Fury, Rhythm of the Wild, Hammer of Purphoros, Domri, City Smasher, etc.

Make sure you have enough mana for creatures stuck in your hand with Darksteel Ingot, Mana Geode, Rampant Growth, etc. And cheat them out again with Quicksilver Amulet, Artisan of Kozilek, Moldgraf Monstrosity, and of course, Elvish Piper.

I'm working on editing this deck right now--had too much ramp before, so I was sitting comfortably with 12-13 mana and still drawing ramp cards I didn't need. I want to keep almost all my creatures power 5 or above for Mayael's ability + card draw off power 4 or greater.

This deck will always be less than $100 as 1) I'm just poor and 2) I worry extensively about investing money in decks I won't like anymore. :) However I am LOVING Mayael's so far so I think this has been a good investment!! This deck is NOT competitive by any means, just a fun deck for playing with my friends.
