Core Idea.

UBNBSH....or, as I prefer to call it, USUAL BRUTAL NAYA BIG STOMPY HORDE!!!

Let's jump into the main features:

1) Ramp.

2A) Take card advantages thanks to Mayael the Anima .

2B) Throw big fatties. (Actually not very different from point 2A)

3) Hit hard opponent's face.

End of features, currently building the deck. It desperately needs a point 2C or some cool interaction at affordable price.

Base Strategy.

1) Not so incredibly complicated: throw first lands and hope to play something like Sol Ring , Nature's Lore , Cultivate , Kodama's Reach , Ranger's Path , Skyshroud Claim , Krosan Verge (currently a land but still a good ramp card), Oracle of Mul Daya , Courser of Kruphix (those last two are a bit "special" and are better described later).

2A) Mayael the Anima : CMC 3, ACTIVATED ABILITY COST 6. Throw her on the battlefield as soon as possible, from 3rd to 5th turn to gain immediately advantage as soon as six mana are available on our side. If she does not survive up to turn 4/5 we have to options: to cast her again or some fatty ass with low CMC (a good percentage of the deck).

This is the probability to find a legal target.

My choice is to put 27 asses to obtain a discrete probability to get one in the first five cards of the library (80.4% supposing an uniform distribution). This imply that, ideally, we successfully get a target four times over five.

When to use Mayael the Anima ? When on the battlefield and we have not too many cards in our hand, in order not to waste anything.

2B) If point 2A does not provide results, we switch back to plan 2B that is, essentially, the same of 2A but with creatures/powerups casted from our hand :D What is very important is the choice of the aforementioned 28 asses! We want, for each of them, a impact on the battlefield in term of ETB triggers, protection, damage, recursion and removal.

Important characteristics.

Designed for a multiplayer playgroup from 4 to 6 people. Created with a sort of "Forces of Nature" theme (Dragons, Beasts, Elementals, Boars etc etc) Open to any kind of feedback.
