Mayael, The Anima was my first EDH deck and my introduction to the format. Since then it's gone through many dramatic changes, including being a dragon deck at one point. I'm one day hoping to foil this deck out and make it as pimp as Mayael deserves.

Plain and simple, this is a deck that doesn't use combos (anymore) and is often one I hand to friends who don't get as much time to play EDH or are just starting out. The deck relies on the commander quite a bit, but with the added ramp that's been included, it has a chance to play the big bombs without her.
