UPDATED!!

WOW it has been long since i updated this deck, this deck has gone through a lot of changes, first its not longer a casual EDH deck, its my competetive deck, and it works pretty damn well, i dont get to play it often but when i do its the target of the table.i've come to accept that, this is my tournament deck and it draws the hate.

Hai there.

This is my Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind EDH deck, or what I call "Math Dragon".

It has been in construction for Around a year and a half, Starting with Melek, Izzet Paragon as my commander; it morphed into a combo-based deck that slowly started to get more and more consistent as time went on, and it turned into this.

This is The First deck that i made, and easily is my favorite. While i do combo out at some point, or blow-up with Omniscience, i built it so its stays with some flavor, and is fun to play with, and hopefully against.

This deck Works around getting Niv out, and protected with an arsenal of counter-magic and/or Lightning Grieves , and playing Mind Over Matter Or Curiosity to create a draw/damage loop. it also works for Multiplayer with the addition of Time Reversal (And soon Time spiral as soon as i get it)However this does not have just one win condition.i kept the remnants of my melek deck concept of using Empty the Warrens And Burn at the Stake as a burn-out game ender, as well as just some plain ol Beat-Face, if i need.

some cards i run are simply there because they have niv in them Blast of GeniusFiremind's Foresightare there for flavor but also work towards my advantage of cycling my deck out, and dealing some petty damage until the combo-math falls into place.

From what i have been told the deck is not unfair to play against because it does have some drawbacks, that others can exploit.i'm open to Big creatures, and niv is sometimes out naked, also my combo's die to simple enhancement removal, so this means i have to work around covering my basis before i can blow-up.

I am more then willing to take any suggestions as i am still somewhat inexperienced with other match ups (due to my small playgroup)
