This is a control-ish deck that I made out of cards I had lying around. My goal is to make the best deck possible without buying additional cards for it.

The idea is to first hate the hand with stuff like Despise or Duress, Inquisition of Kozilek, and Pick the Brain. Kolaghan's Command also has discard as well as Brain Maggot.

So after a few turns of that, when the opponent presumably begins to start stacking creatures on the battlefield, we switch to creature hate. I have random red burn in there, but also the Anguished Unmaking, Banishing Light, and Pillory of the Sleepless and Oppressive Rays really help keep them down.

As the game progresses, hopefully we haven't taken a bunch of damage and hopefully we've been able to keep the board under control. If not, we have Damnation and Planar Outburst to hopefully clear the board.

We should move at this point into our damage, either with Sorin, Grim Nemesis or Ob Nixilis Reignited, which can both help with creatures and card advantage, Sorin, though, actually has a decent way to deal damage and a fairly dominating ultimate. There are also the angels to help deliver damage, Archangel Avacyn   being able to clear the board as well as deal damage. Gisela, the Broken Blade   and her partner Bruna, the Fading Light   are also quite capable. Flameblade Angel and Goldnight Castigator are sort of back ups.

Anyway, I know it's kind of shit, but like I said, just made it out of wayward cards and leftovers. I hope in time to make improvements as I find / get more good cards. Maybe one day I'll actually shell money out for some singles and really crank it up. But until then, if you see any potential or have any ideas I'd love to hear them!

EDIT: Thinking about adding Nevermore and or Gideon's Intervention, Ghostly Prison. EDIT: Added the above cards with great success. Seems to reaaaally lock down the game and allow me to pull ahead, closing with planeswalkers or angels.

EDIT: Thinking about adding Soulfire Grand Master, Young Pyromancer, Phyrexian Arena (as a cheap substitute for Dark Confidant, maybe some Crackling Doom. I also like the idea of Lingering Souls. May also switch it up a little and go a little more heavy on the burn package with Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix.
