Sorcery (1)

Planeswalker (1)

Land (1)

There is much talk about the art of creation. What about the art of destruction?

This is my second attempt at making a stax deck. I would appreciate some cutting suggestions. If you want to suggest good cards or combos feel free too. ;)

This deck is not meant to be friendly or "fun". If you look for something like this look into my other decks and never come back to this page. ;)
For those who don't know what stax is: klick here for the stax primer

Combos:
- Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void -> win
- Queen Marchesa + Solitary Confinement -> protection
- Bitterblossom + Contamination -> softlock on lands
- Assemble the Legion + Contamination -> softlock on lands + a lot of tokens
- Assemble the Legion + Smokestack -> really hard boardlock
- Bitterblossom + Smokestack -> soft boardlock
- Crucible of Worlds + Smokestack + any one land -> soft boardlock
- Elspeth, Sun's Champion + Smokestack -> boardlock
If you bring a token producer on the board and add up some more counters on Smokestack you will see most people flip the table. Especially if you play a land whipe afterwards. So secure your cards before this happens. XD

I think there are still some more interactions but those not listed should be something similiar to those above.
The combo is not the only win option here but it's an instant win option. Most games end in people giving up but ultimately this deck would win with combat damage through tokens or continuous commander damage through Marchesa. But most people won't bother to play till they get killed.

Alternate win con:
Commander damage or normal damage with tokens and the creatures.

And if you are asking yourself why I use Greed instead of Erebos, God of the Dead: It simply costs me 1 mana less to activate and in stax this can be crucial.

I did it. My deck officially became the most hated deck in my LGS and my local playgroup. Some few people refuse to play against it and some others see it as a challenge. I personally still love it.
