Hello everyone!

Ideas based off of: BudgetMTGDecks Budget Marchesa, the Black Rose http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/budget-marchesa-the-black-rose/

This is my third EDH deck and is the first in 3 colours. I originally wanted Exava to be the cmdr but it was difficult figuring out how survive or win. I wanted to prevent opponent's actions. Along came Marchesa.

Changes compared to base:

1. Removed some of the creatures

2. Added counter spells

3. Added more betrayal cards

I found the original deck difficult to cast things due to the high mana cost and I didn't like that blue spells were not used more.

My revisions should allow you to get the colour and mana needed to start playing. The lands cards are from stuff I got and I tried to bring the mana cost down.

You are likely to take a beating in the beginning when playing against speedier decks but this helps Marchesa's dethrone ability.

The objective is to borrow opponent's creatures, give them a counter, and then sac them.
