Fleet Commander Marchesa captains the Black Rose, which holds a dreadful curse. The vessel, which has seen many a dark deed performed in its commander's charters, now demands unwavering fealty from those who walk its planks. No one who comes aboard may leave. Undead and unfeeling, these unkillable pirates raid the seas, reveling in riches and the blood foam of their victims. As long as their captain is there to command them, these buccaneers will willingly jump into danger; after all, a gruesome end is only temporary for the cursed crew of the Black Rose.

Grixis Pirates Tribal. Arguably lacks anthem effects, but is more concerned with ETB triggers. Treasure tokens prioritised over mana rocks as perform dual function. Win cons are primarily attrition, Revel in Riches treasure hoards, stealing opponents creatures and perhaps milling them with an unkillable Fleet Swallower. Budget at present doesn't allow much in the way of commander protection, so relying on Marchesa to get the dethrone counter to stick around. Obviously needs work in that regard.
