This is a combo deck that has 3 key pieces which are Marchesa, the Black Rose, a creature with modular such as Arcbound Worker or Arcbound Crusher and a sac outlet such as Phyrexian Altar or Extruder . With these combo pieces you will be able sac one of your modular creatures on each turn to gain counters so the more players in a game, the more counters you will gain. With other permanents in play, this combo engine gets even better. For example; with Grim Haruspex or River Kelpie you get draw, with Grave Pact or Butcher of Malakir you get stax and with creatures such as Solemn Simulacrum , Sphinx Summoner and Wurmcoil Engine you can seriously abuse their ETB and death triggers. Over all this deck has a powerful combo engine that can quickly out pace your opponents, however it relies entirely on its commander Marchesa, the Black Rose which makes it pretty vulnerable to removal, despite Marchesa, the Black Rose's to recur themselves.

For this deck to operate it needs 3 things in play which are Marchesa, the Black Rose, a creature with modular and a sac outlet. Bellow all of the sac outlets and modular creatures are listed so you know what to keep in your opening hand. Once all three pieces are in play, the gears to this deck start turning. Other than that, all you want to keep in your opening hand is ramp so Marchesa, the Black Rose can get into play, attack and dethrone as soon as possible so they have some protection by having a counter on them. In your opening hand go for; 4 lands/ramp cards, 1 sac outlet, as many creatures with modular as possible and maybe 1 other good card that is noted bellow.

Notable Cards Show

( Sneak Attack ) with Marchesa, the Black Rose in play you can play any creature for 1 red mana, have it attack which gives it a +1/+1 counter and then when it is sacrificed at the end of the turn it will return to play at the end of the following turn.

(River Kelpie) is awesome because you will have many creatures die, then return to play because of Marchesa, the Black Rose's ability and this will result in a stupid amount of drawing. Also with River Kelpie's persist ability it will have another form of protection making it nearly unkillable with Marchesa, the Black Rose in pay. Grim Haruspex is also equally good for the same reasons but I wouldn't keep both in my opening hand.

( Grave Pact ) will force your opponents to eventually sac all of their creatures once your combo gets up and running.

( Arcbound Ravager ) is the best combo piece in the deck because it doubles as a modular creature and a sac outlet which it means it combos alone with Marchesa, the Black Rose.

( Ashnod's Altar ) is another especially great sac outlet because it gives 2 colorless mana per sac which is great for letting cast those big artifact cards early on.

( Steel Overseer ) is the perfect combo enabler when you don't have a modular creature in play. Even when you're not trying to abuse combos, the ability to put a counter on each artifact creature will grant your board state a huge gain.

( Solemn Simulacrum ) is probably the best card to have in play once your combo gets online. Due to the cards ETB trigger and death trigger you will be able to double down on the abuse and get a land and draw per turn.

( Kuldotha Forgemaster )'s ability is easy to use because the vast majority of artifact creatures you sacrifice will come back to play to be sacrificed again. This card also lets you cheat some of your biggest and meanest artifacts into play such as Triskelavus , Pentavus , Arcbound Overseer and the classic Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice combo.

( Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas ) is a nice win-con card when you're unable to attack. Its ultimate can also go off the second turn it is out and is one of the few cards in this deck that can gain you life.

(Triskelion) is another great alternative win-con card when you can't attack. Pile up tons of counters on your modular creature, sac the modular creature placing the tokens on Triskelion and then remove the counters to ping your opponents to death.

( Treasure Mage ) is great once your combo is online. This card can tutor up 9 different artifacts which are some of the strongest in the deck due to their high CMC. This card can also tutor up the notorious Darksteel Forge + Mycosynth Lattice combo.
