Marath "Budget" Competitive Naya Combo Token Beats

Commander / EDH

CJofSelesnya

This is my Naya Combo deck with some token beats. Hardened Scales is great for getting your commander more counters by itself, thus giving you more counters to get more tokens, which is great for Purphoros and Impact Tremors . Kiki-Jiki is great for going infinite with a certain select monsters (Felidar, the Angel, and the Bell-Ringer for starters) and the sacrifice outlets, combined with hardened scales, the token doublers, and Marath can create infinite combo, which can allow for infinite tokens and, with Purphoros and Impact Tremors then everyone else will just die. We have creature searchers (I plan on getting Imperial Recruiter and Chord of Calling too) to get the job done faster and, if all else fails, you can still just go with plan D (or E) and just overwhelm people with your creatures. They can get pretty big. :)

I find Marath to be pretty fun; it's also one of those commanders that you can just use by itself; even if you have a dead hand you can still play him on board, get the tokens, then have him die and then cast him again if you have the mana. I don't do this normally, but this is just a hypothetical situation where you have absolutely no other play. Normally, you have a play.
