Malfegor likes to make everyone discard

Commander / EDH

KingPhen

Card advantage is important in edh, and so is having a hand, so what happens when we throw all of that out the window.

Malfegor is a 6 mana 6/6 that lets you discard your hand (one with nothing style) in exchange for your opponents sacrificing that many creatures. While Malfegors ability isnt the centerpiece of the deck, it is powerful nonetheless, and should be used to keep your opponents in check.

The plain is to hurt our opponents to both draw and discard, and immediately make them do these things. Faith of the devoted is nice because it works when we discard things, not just our opponents. Once we have learned the ways of nothing by discarding our hand, we have a few ways to get it back, Phyrexian Arena is great as it gives us a second draw, but Geths Grimoire and Waste Not allow you to draw when your opponents discard their cards.
