Card draw is the key to winning in EDH. Those with the most cards are most likely to win. But what if we flipped that rule on its head?

This deck aims to throw its hand into the bin for value. Malfegor lets you turn each card in hand into a one-sided edict, while other cards in our deck let us draw multiple cards a turn or pump our creatures when we're hellbent. Wheel effects allow us to reload for further Malfegor castings while also stocking our graveyards for reanimation effects. As such, despite aiming to get hellbent for value, this deck draws a lot of cards. As such, ramp is invaluable, as it lets us cast the few cards we have in hand when not discarding them for value.

We play most of the draw-sevens in our colours in order to reload after Melfagor. As such, I have included a small package to profit off opponents discards, such as Waste Not. Most of these cards aim to profit you when an opponent discards rather than forcing discard. As such, I've avoided cards that reduce my opponents' ability to play a fun game and instead leaned towards cards that can win the game on their own, such as Painful Quandary, or cards that provide a benefit for us at a minor cost to our opponents, such as Syphon Mind. The goal is to play a fun and aggressive game, not to make everyone miserable!

Because our deck relies heavily on sacrifice, we are a little weak to swarm strategies. As such, cards like Rakdos Charm, Archfiend of Depravity, and Necroplasm go up in value as ways to ensure that Malfegor hits our opponents' valuable creatures rather than their chaff.

To take advantage of all the wheel of fortune effects, our deck has a reasonable amount of ramp to unload its hand. In particular, we like ramp that is dual purpose. Commander's Sphere, Mind Stone, and Hedron Archive ramp early and turn into cards in hand late, while Coalition Relic can ramp to varying extents depending on what the situation demands.
