When the other players send their creatures, they're not sending their best. They're bringing lifelink, they're bringing trample, they're fliers, and some, I assume, are good creatures. We need to build a wall, and it needs to be built quickly.

Let me tell you, folks, Marchesa builds the best walls. The best walls. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. No creature is getting through that wall. That wall is going to be made out of tremendous, tremendous cards:

We are going to put Mardu first. Mardu first. This is going to be yuge, folks. This is a bigly deck.

...yeah, okay, I can't keep that up. Basically, the idea is to become the monarch, hide behind some walls, and indirectly whittle away at the other players while building up an army. It shines best in multiplayer games, where it's possible to keep a low profile.

Army-builders:

Just remember that you're going to be drawing a lot more once you become the monarch, so make sure your tiny tiny hands can hold all those cards.
