Strategy is using ramp pieces to cast Maga or Torment big enough to be an one hit KO upon ETB. That's living the dream. Side plans include using his big power in combined with the evasion granting cards to eliminate opponents on attack.

This is more of a control deck that uses ramp to have a repeatable wincon in it's commander. These otherwise fragile ramp pieces are usually protected by the heavy discard package the deck comes equipped with.

Dimir House Guard is really versatile here. Can transmute for Crypt Ghast, Diabolic Tutor, Languish, Damnation, Mutilate, P-Vault, Dark Lily, PhObliterator or even Thran Dynamo.

Sorin Markov + an X=10 Maga kills a player outright.

Miren, the Moaning Well makes an excellent sac outlet if you choose to cast Mage repeatedly for the victory.
