"Go wide, young man!"

You've entered a world of pure imagination.

If you like massive board states, this deck will be right up your alley. It has a lot of the best token generators because I still think that Purphoros, God of the Forge is one of the best win conditions in the format. So to take advantage of him, we have Deranged Hermit, Myr Battlesphere, Avenger of Zendikar and Chancellor of the Forge. I have found Chancellor of the Forge to be extremely powerful in a deck designed to synergize with him. I also find Krenko, Mob Boss to be amazing. He is somewhat like the red Rhys the Redeemed. He makes insane amounts of goblins when combined with value cards like Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Siege-Gang Commander, not to mention Skullclamp all-star, Mogg War Marshal. Those goblins will kill your opponent, even if they Constant Mists every single turn, simply with Siege-Gang Commander. I win by fling so often, I've lost count.

But if you are not flinging for the win, you can tap them for mana with Cryptolith Rite. That card being printed actually reinvigorated my EDH interests. I had to explore it. I've found it to be significantly worse than Earthcraft which is not surprising, but one bonus is that Maelstrom Wanderer granting haste actually makes them much closer in power level which is really saying something.

Using all your tokens for mana is great, but even better is casting your spells for cheaper with Animar, Soul of Elements. Paying for Chancellor of the Forge which makes you more Birds of Paradise and you are beginning to get into some rarified air.

But wait, there's more. You need to be able to refill your hand, ala Combo Elves using Glimpse of Nature. There are many cards which fill this role, like Fathom Mage, Garruk's Packleader or Primordial Sage, however, the two that I have found to be the best are Soul of the Harvest and Zendikar Resurgent. The trample is very relevant, and Soul also let's you draw off Maelstrom Wanderer if you cascade into Soul of the Harvest so it is just clearly better than the other examples of this mechanic, and Zendikar Resurgent obviously has the bonus of doubling mana.

Keep in mind that doubling the mana in this way works with Earthcraft but not Cryptolith Rite, effectively making all your tokens into Sol Ring + Birds of Paradise.

So that is the primary engine here. The Platinum Angel is in it for the lulz. Kiora's Follower is insanely good. It can kill your opponent with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Purphoros, God of the Forge, but more importantly, it can untap engine cards like Krenko, Mob Boss for value. Also, the Phyrexian Metamorph is in here pretty much just to become a copy of Kiora's Follower just to give you an idea how good it really is.

Kiora's Follower can also enter the battlefield off of the trigger from Woodland Bellower, which you can find with Fierce Empath.

The other card that Woodland Bellower finds often is the kill-shaman, Shaman of Forgotten Ways. With how much mana you can make, with haste enabled most of the time, and with the ability to find him pretty consistently with Bellower and Birthing Pod, Shaman is probably the most frequent kill card in the deck. You don't even have to wipe them out if you can get them to 4 or less, you can just kill them with a trigger from the Myr Battlesphere.

Cards that return Maelstrom Wanderer for more cascades are Erratic Portal, Crystal Shard and Temur Sabertooth.

You can also easily kill your opponents by attacking. Probably the best card for this is Pathbreaker Ibex. Even with nothing else on the board, if you cascade into that goat, you are swinging for 24 trample. It's moments like this when it pays to fetch a Dryad Arbor, and instead attack for 32 trample.

Another good one is Champion of Lambholt. With so many tokens entering, this card gets huge. It's cheap to cast, and it also extends evasion to the whole team. By becoming huge, he also combos well with the Pathbreaker Ibex.

I have found that Chasm Skulker is underrated. This card is great. He grows very quickly with a Jace, the Mind Sculptor and other draw effects. Also worth mentioning that you can set up your cascades with Jace if you brainstorm immediately prior to casting Wanderer. Just make sure that if you are intending to cascade into two spells, and one of those searches your library, that you put that card on the bottom, so as not to disrupt the other spell's position. This also works although not as easily with Sylvan Library.

If you are trying to play this deck, just work on putting lands onto the battlefield before trying to combo out. You need lots and lots of mana.

This deck also has the build your own Prophet edition of Seedborn Muse and Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir.

This isn't the most broken deck I've ever built, but all of the pieces synergize really well. Like most of my decks, it does not take extra turns and does not play counterspells. As far as I can tell, the only infinite is with Kiora's Follower, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Purphoros, God of the Forge but there could be other infinites with Temur Sabertooth that I am not up to speed on yet.
