M20 True Colorless

Standard Artifact Casual

Tsarivari

Sideboard

Because choosing a color is hard, and also because Karn and Ugin are in Standard, let's have some colorless goodness.

Core Set 2020 has been a blessing to artifact players, bringing us the lovely Steel Overseer + Voltaic Servant synergy, and our very own horizon land in the form of Cryptic Caves .

The game plan is pretty simple. Early game, we try to sustain damage with Voltaic Servant while digging with Treasure Map   (the cement of all jank). Mid game, we land our Karns, hope they stick, and start drawing cards. From there, we win by playing everything for free off of Ugin, the Ineffable , Jhoira's Familiar and Mystic Forge to assemble a big bois army.

Sideboard is the most obvious wishboard for Karn I could think of, will need some refining.

The advantage of playing colorless is the manabase. You don't have to pray for your colors (though we put some basics in for good measure) so you can focus on utility. Since we rely heavily on our Planeswalker, Interplanar Beacon and Karn's Bastion are a given. Zhalfirin Void is simply perfect in this deck. The rest is trying to cover our bases.

The inconvenient of playing colorless is everything else.
