Description

My first attempt at a 5 color standard Sliver deck. Any suggestions for the deck would be greatly appreciated! I really enjoy the Sliver type and would like to make the deck competitive enough for FNM. As of now, the strategy is to get out a few of the smaller Slivers and then Savage Summoning a Megantic Sliver or a Syphon Sliver . and swing for a win or insane life gain. I have Boros Charm for board wipes and Dispel for cheap counter to removal for my early threats like Galerider Sliver . As of now, playing with regular land combined with the chromatic lanterns and the Manaweft Sliver has kept the mana base fairly consistent.

Yeah, if you want to win FNM you need the shocks, guildgates waste a turn and slow down the deck considerably, i have a 3 colour with the 4th in the sideboard, i would say drop to 4 colours and make it easier on your mana base. If you wanted the game to grind out a bit use the syphon sliver, for faster beats use the galerider. Also Door of Destinies was made for tribal decks so i would defiantly include it. Heres my deck for consideration: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/suicidal-slivers/

Thanks for the response! I'm excited to go get the cards soon and be able to test out the pros and cons of the slivers! I do like Door of Destinies !

I'm not sure how I feel about Silence , but I think it would be a good sideboard addition against control to T4 it in upkeep to prevent a supreme verdict and swing on T5.
