A deck I built a few months ago on a whim and ended up absolutely falling in love with. It took a lot of inspiration from a Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs deck I found over the internet that was designed to make everyone attack. The idea really appealed to me but I felt like it was missing something. So I added white and blue to the mix for more "group hug" cards and prison effects. Mostly as extra incentives to not attack me.

The orginal build was using Zedruu the Greathearted and cards like Perplexing Chimera and Goblin Cadets but I felt like the deck wasn't taking advantage of it's own combat phase very effectively. This sparked the idea to cut some of the slower, durdly cards, in exhange for powerhouses and finishers like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight and Iroas, God of Victory. That change also left a lot of the donate specific cards out as well, so the partners ended up taking her place.

Both of the partners have a very specific role in the deck. Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist is the main head of the deck. The brains of the operation, and much better at fitting the theme than Zedruu was. You want to play him as soon as possible in order to give your opponents the incentive they need to get in and cause havoc. Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder isn't always needed. In fact, there have been several games where I either cast him only once, or not at all. You should see him more as a mercenary for hire. If your creatures need a little extra push, or your life total is in dire straits, he'll be there for you.

Some final notes. Try to limit what you end up putting on the battlefield at any given time. For example, there's no point in using Fumiko the Lowblood and Charging Cinderhorn at the same time as they don't mesh well together and losing both to the same board wipe will always feel bad. You also don't want to play your biggest threats right away. You want to keep a low profile and watch your opponents to tear eachother apart, then clean up the mess. If they see you throw down a Gisela, Blade of Goldnight before you can kill the whole table, you immediately find yourself in a game of "Archenemy". Lastly, don't be afraid to use your Thunderstaff and Contested War Zone to buff opponent's creatures on their combat. This can be an extremely useful bargaining chip, or a sneaky way of either killing or blowing out a player who isn't paying attention.
