Loyal Down to the Gates of Death (Budget Allies)

Casual Allies Budget RUW (Jeskai, America)

A friend of mine built a Jeskai Ally-Trap deck from the Zendikar set. I already play Bant Allies and I loved the idea, but after pulling out the cards I had at home, I quickly discovered that traps were not for me. Instead, I went with a "Gate" theme from the Return to Ravnica block, using Crackling Perimeter & Hold the Gates alongside Impact Tremors to make the most of the creature drops from the allies.

The title is from a quote from Robert Louis Stevenson from his thanksgiving prayer:

"Bless us, if it may be, in all our innocent endeavors. If it may not, give us the strength to encounter that which is to come, that we be brave in peril, constant in tribulation, temperate in wrath, and in all changes of fortune, and, down to the gates of death, loyal and loving one to another."

It seems appropriate for an allies deck.

I'm keeping in the Tuktuk Grunts since I already have them and want to use them, but replacing them all with Kazuul Warlord s is an inexpensive upgrade.
