Overlaid Terrain —Jan. 25, 2020

I've decided to give Overlaid Terrain a try in this deck. If I hit it early, it can ramp and fix. Later, it can be really good for hitting some triggers. I run it Titania, and think it can work here.

This will probably sound a bit odd but have you thought about cutting Constant Mist to add in Mina and Denn, Wildborn since they should help you out a lot more then a repeating fog

xander11, I've added Mina and Denn, Wildborn , but still have Constant Mists in. It could be up to be cut, but it's a great fog with it's buyback cost fitting the theme of the deck so well. When it gets down to brass tacks, and I need a cut, it may go. Just trying it out for now. I do appreciate the input, though. I'm not normally a big fan of fog effects, but this one works well for this deck.

Okay, have you thought about adding in any tutors to the deck for creatures? I understand this deck needs room for more lands than normal but it feels a little weird to me to see no tutors (for non-lands) in the deck. I should add that I also like that fog effect for this deck but didn't see much else to pull out for other cards

I've been up and down on tutors. Typically, I'd rather play more fun stuff than tutors to search out the same win-cons every game. It's pretty easy to churn through this deck out of the box, and the changes I've made will help out even more. I've seen lists that run Defense of the Heart along with other staple tutors, and I get why. But I wanted to see how consistent it can be before I cut some fun stuff to add in tutors.

Sorry for not commenting sooner, i had work, and just got off. Anyways, may i ask if you've considered the Dark Depths + Thespian's Stage combo? Or Vesuva instead

Thanks for the comment, davidsays1. Dark Depths is out of my budget for what I want to spend on getting a card I don't already have. Otherwise, I'd go for it. Perfect for a deck like this.

Ghost Town sometimes helps with landfall, though I doubt you will need to, just before I suggest anything, I have to say this type of deck is not in my comfort zone, Wrenn and Six is ok, but really quite expensive, Crop Rotation , Birds of Paradise is quite good itself, I am guessing you already know why, as said beforehand, I really suck at this type of deck, and also sorry for not commenting after posting my deck,

I would think about replacing Wayfarer's Bauble and Far Wanderings. Maybe with Rampant Growth and either Explosive vegetation or Circuitous Route. Rampant Growth is one less than Wayfarer's Bauble. Far Wanderings is too conditional to get its maximum effect. You generally don't want ramp to be conditional.

Those are good thoughts, AscendedLandfalls. I do like the Bauble, even though you end up paying three total to ramp a land, but the first turn drop is nice. But I may go ahead and switch out Far Wanderings for Explosive Vegetation , although it's not difficult to hit Threshold in this deck.
