A quick rundown of the deck..

Sultai is one of the best color combinations in EDH. So good infact, that this deck doesn't really even need Damia at the helm and as a result is a very hands-off deck for Damia. However, I have included many instances of flash (hence the "waiting" in the title) in this deck to utilize her because her draw potential is unparalleled in commander.

1. Ramp + draw effects.

If we look at the "custom categories" tab in ordering, we'll see this deck comes prepared with a hefty amount of ramp and draw cards. Setting ourselves up for victory involves a steady supply of ammo in the early game. Cultivate and Kodama's Reach are going to be the key players in this game. Now is also the time to put down a flash ability like Vedalken Orrery or Alchemist's Refuge and tutor our combo pieces with Vampiric Tutor or Demonic Tutor.

2. Set up our hand.

With or without Damia on the field, it's important to not completely empty our hand. There are counterspells in this deck to stop unwanted boardwipes and winconditions, not just a Woodfall Primus. As well as a decent amount of removal, use it wisely, and remember, flash is your friend.

3. Lockdown, or combo?

This deck has three ways to win, one involves a 3-4 infinite card draw combo with Thrasios, Triton Hero and Palinchron and either Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Palinchron, Deadeye Navigator or Zendikar Resurgent most of which is tutorable with Tooth and Nail. In my meta, a 4 card combo is appropriate so that is why it is included here. Recently, I've gotten a little more devious and I have added Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion for an infinite burn combo and a Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Knowledge Pool lockdown. If one of them dies or gets exiled, no worries! This deck is packed with tutors for alternative winconditions.
