...LOLTH, QUEEN OF SPIDERS, GODDESS OF DROWS...

How to properly assassinate a planeswalker

"Begin your assassination attempt by sending your male Drows (Viridian Emissary and Thornweald Archer). They're weak, but one does not waste available resources. Once they've failed, follow with the true offensive of your ruthless female Drows (Wren's Run Vanquisher, led by myself, Glissa, the Traitor, high priestess of Lolth). If you're life is threatened, keep your giant poisonous spiders with you for protection (Deadly Recluse and Kessig Recluse). But if your situation is secured, send them to assist your Drow assassins. During your mission, if you ever encounter a creature of an inferior race whose ugliness and stench horrifies your delicate Drow senses - like a Dwarf for example - in the name of Lolth put it out of its misery. Please. (Eyeblight's Ending) Also note that if some of your assassins are defeated by guards, the deadly poison on their blades will ensure no one's left to speak of their shameful failure (Deathtouch).

If the planeswalker manages to organize a military force of significance, send your finest assassin to infiltrate unnoticed and attempt murder from the shadows (Rogue's Passage). Discretion is always preferable to open combat.

Against the most powerful planeswalkers, summon one of Lolth's greater demons (Rune-Scarred Demon). If the demon is pleased by your offerings, it might grant you one wish to further your ambitions. Do not waste such a blessing, and remember: Lolth's demons can also gate others of their kind from the Abyss. Use this knowledge well.

Once the planeswalker has been wounded and weakened, walk out of the shadows and silently unsheathe your magical adamantium sword. Resist the urge to make him beg for his life: just backstab the bastard through the heart (Sorin's Vengeance). One can never be too cautious with their kind...

Please donate half your loot to Lolth's Temple. Failure to comply may result in divine wrath, demonic curse and everlasting torment in the infernal Abyss."

-- Glissa, the Traitor, high priestess of the Temple of Lolth

STRATEGIES

Aggro Half-Life.
You only need to bring your opponent down to 10 life with your attackers. Sorin's Vengeance will do the rest. Fetch it with Rune-Scarred Demon if needed. This is the main strategy.

Hide and seek.
Hide behind your deathtouch / reach creatures while you attack relentlessly with Glissa, the Traitor or with any unblockable creature via Rogue's Passage.

Late game beating.
When you cast Rune-Scarred Demon, you can always fetch another one, and another one... Popping a 6/6 flyer each turn can quickly overwhelm many opponents.
