Ixalan Update —Sept. 22, 2017
As Ixalan pre-release week started I modified the deck with the new cards from the set. In addition to that lowered the amount of cards in the deck to 60. Deck now has a good portion of removal and control and no longer utilizes energy.

Murphy77 Thank you for suggestion, but neither Forgotten Creation nor Chandra, Flamecaller fit into this deck, as they will cycle out a little bit more than in a month. I specifically plan my decks for Ixalan cycle.

Have you considered Forgotten Creation and/or Chandra, Flamecaller for mega-draw once you have your The Locust God out. With the large number of discards to the grave, Perpetual Timepiece could then return cards to your library. I know that it is a different strategy, but it could be fun to play.
