Hey all!

So I started with spoiler season, and just feeling that The Locust God would be an Hour of Devastation allstar! So I quickly put together The Locust God Prototype and started playing games! I'm traditionally a tribal artist at heart, but he's too much fun to pass up!

My play group started getting more competitive, so I came up with this list to move towards. Still mostly planning on overwhelming my opponents with loving little locust tokens, but allows for a more competitive backup plan in Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal , not to mention a slight stax backup.

What this allows me to do, should I feel froggy and wish to leap, is the following:

Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal with at least 3 possible mana being created via mana rocks yielding Graham's Number (or nearly infinite) mana of varying amounts red, blue and colorless.

What this also allows me to do, in conjunction with Sensei's Divining Top is to draw my whole deck (minus 1 card or so) so should I choose (A win-condition by itself if The Locust God is in play).

But more importantly, it'll allow me to have Capsize , Paradox Engine and/or Fireball at the ready!

Paradox Engine will be cast, put into play.

By casting Capsize (with buyback), with my nearly infinite mana, I return everything that isn't mine to their owner's hand, essentially ensuring a mass-concede from the participants/victims! I used to run Lightning Bolt + Paradox Engine and Isochron Scepter/Dramatic Reversal, but I came to the realization that this required far too many pieces that my opponents wouldn't allow to stick around. Lightning Bolt always felt like a dead card in hand, and after quite a few matches, swapped from more interaction. This list in insanely durable, and the more interaction the better!
Once I have (nearly) infinite mana, LG himself is a win-con, allowing me to draw up my deck in amounts needed to kill my opponents with hasty fliers! This was an unanticipated excellent way to win

If you have any suggestions, please let me know! If you like the list, please feel free to share! Huge thanks to the Lab Maniacs in showing me how reb/blue cEDH works!

Updates Add

As time has gone on, I have played a bunch of games with the ole LG and this is the list as it stands currently. Lots of fun, still very powerful, but not nearly the top tier I thought he could be. I win plenty of matches, but more often than not, I run out of fuel and/or I'm not able to keep old boy in play.

Still recommend! My cEDH list of choice to this day
