This deck started out being just about adding horrors to a deck but ended up containing mostly werewolf horrors. I decided most of the way through constructing this deck to make it Standard legal since most of the cards I was picking were coming out of Eldritch Moon and Shadows Over Innistrad; and, as a result, wound up with primarily a werewolf transformation deck. That being said, everything in the deck -- save Westvale Abbey   , which is just plain fun -- is a horror as well as its other types.

I have yet to try this deck in a competitive setting, but it playtests very fun. It is easy to kill a few early turns with a Gnarlwood Dryad or a Scourge Wolf . By the type the opponent has dealt with the early threat, it is likely you'll have a heavy horror on the field and either enough mana or a Waxing Moon ready to transform.

The best part of this deck is that it is SUPER budget friendly. If you decide the $30 price tag is still too much, you can drop Arlinn Kord   and Westvale Abbey   . This makes the deck total about $5 with shipping from TCG.
